01 Pricing & Payment
Two fees, plainly named. Every dollar labeled honestly.
How much does a website cost? +
Two fees, plainly named. The Design & Development fee pays for the craft: from $2,500 on Basic or $3,500 on Core, paid in full or split over 12 months with no interest and no credit check. The Platform & Hosting subscription pays for the system that keeps your site alive: $299/mo on Basic or $399/mo on Core. Every dollar is labeled honestly, and support is always free.
What does the Design & Development fee cover? +
The craft. Custom design on True Mtn wireframes (never a template), the full build, content setup, premium licensed imagery, and launch. On Basic that means up to 5 core pages. On Core it means up to 15 pages plus 5 city service pages, advanced forms, your integrations wired up, and a blog that launches with six industry articles already published.
What does the monthly Platform & Hosting fee pay for? +
The system your site runs on: premium cloud hosting, enterprise CDN and security, daily backups in two locations, weekly software updates, 24/7 uptime monitoring, spam protection, reliable lead delivery, and your tier's tools. Assembling it yourself would run $200+/mo in licenses alone, and you'd be the one maintaining it every week. Your monthly Site Health Report shows exactly what it did: uptime, threats blocked, backups completed, leads delivered.
Can I split the Design & Development fee into payments? +
Yes. Split it over 12 equal monthly payments. No interest, no credit check, no fine print. Or pay it in full before development begins. Your call.
Why do prices say "starting at"? +
Because the scope is defined, not vague. Basic is fixed at 5 pages. Core includes up to 15 pages plus 5 city service pages. Anything beyond that (extra pages, a careers page, a portfolio showcase, ecommerce) is a clearly priced add-on, quoted on your proposal before any work starts. You'll never get a surprise invoice.
Are there any hidden fees? +
No. Your proposal has exactly two numbers on it: one Design & Development number and one monthly number. Support is always free. Add-ons are always quoted and approved before we do the work. If a dollar leaves your account, you'll know exactly what it bought.
Does my price ever change? +
Your Platform & Hosting subscription is a flat monthly rate: $299 on Basic, $399 on Core. If you split your Design & Development fee over 12 months, your total monthly actually drops after year one when the split is paid off.
Is there a guarantee? +
Yes. A 30-day money-back guarantee before development begins. If we're not the right fit after the design phase starts, you get your money back. No awkward conversation required.
Do you charge hourly for anything? +
Never for support. That's always free. Active work like new add-on projects, Content Booster, or Google Ads is quoted as a flat price before we start. No "$150/hr for every little change" surprises.
02 Packages & Features
Basic keeps you online. Core turns your site into a lead machine.
What's the difference between Basic and Core? +
Basic keeps your site online, fast, and secure: a great site plus the full platform essentials. Core keeps you compliant and turns your site into a lead machine connected to your business: privacy and consent compliance, Enhanced Analytics powered by Google, SMS lead alerts, Zapier and CRM automation, advanced forms, a blog that launches with six articles, and 30 days of backup retention instead of 7.
Which package is right for me? +
If you just need a great site online, Basic does the job. If your business runs on its website (leads, quotes, bookings, compliance), Core is built for you. One extra job a year typically pays for the difference. On your discovery call we'll recommend one honestly; we'd rather fit you right than upsell you.
Can I start on Basic and upgrade to Core later? +
Absolutely. There's a clear upgrade path. We quote the setup work for the Core features being added, your monthly moves to $399, and everything gets wired into the site you already have. No rebuild, no starting over.
How many pages do I get? +
Basic includes up to 5 core pages, a deliberate, focused scope. Core includes up to 15 pages plus 5 city service pages. Need more on Core? Additional pages are $150 each and additional city service pages are $100 each, quoted upfront.
What's a city service page? +
A dedicated page targeting a specific city or area you serve, built so people searching "your service + their town" find you instead of a competitor. Core includes five of them, written and structured to rank.
What's a Custom Post Type? +
Most websites have two kinds of content: pages and blog posts. A Custom Post Type is a purpose-built third kind, structured around something your business has a lot of: team members, projects, locations, case studies, menu items, equipment. You fill in a simple form (name, photo, details) and the site formats and places it perfectly, every time. No design skills, no layout fiddling. It's worth it when you have five or more of the same kind of content that changes over time.
Can you build ecommerce? +
Yes. Ecommerce buildouts are quoted per project and run on the Core package, since selling online needs the advanced forms, compliance, and analytics Core provides. Tell us what you sell on the discovery call and we'll scope it.
Do you get SMS alerts when a lead comes in? +
On Core, yes. New leads are texted to your phone in seconds, alongside the email notification. Speed wins jobs. The contractor who calls back first usually gets the work.
Do you offer rush delivery? +
Yes. Rush delivery is a $5,000 add-on: a 2-week turnaround with priority resourcing and standard timelines waived. Most clients don't need it. Our normal timeline is already 3 to 5 weeks.
What other add-ons are available? +
A branded careers page with job listings and an application flow ($1,500), Custom Post Types ($1,600), a portfolio showcase with dynamic grid and lightbox gallery ($2,000), ADA compliance (quoted per project), ecommerce (quoted per project), and extra pages on Core. All quoted clearly on your proposal.
03 Process & Timeline
From first call to launch: exactly what happens and when.
How long until my site is live? +
Most sites launch in 3 to 5 weeks from your completed onboarding form. Our onboarding process is built to collect everything upfront, which is how we avoid the months-long timelines common with other agencies.
What happens after I sign? +
Six clear phases: a free discovery call, a ~30-minute onboarding, design (homepage mockup first, refined with you), development on a private staging site, a soft launch where you review everything before it goes public, and then the grow phase, which is weekly updates, monthly reports, and free support forever. The full walkthrough is on our Process page.
How much of my time will this take? +
About 30 to 45 minutes for the onboarding form. That's the only homework. After that, we just need honest feedback at the design milestones and a final review before launch. We built the process so you can keep running your business.
When does monthly billing start? +
At kickoff, when your platform spins up. Staging environment, licenses, and portal access all go live the moment your onboarding form is in. Your platform is live from day one; your site just isn't public yet.
What if I'm slow getting you content or feedback? +
No penalty fees, ever. If a project is waiting on you for an extended stretch, it simply pauses while your platform keeps running, and we pick it right back up when you're ready. We'll also nudge you, politely, because we want this launched as much as you do.
Can I see my site before it goes live? +
Yes. That's the whole point of the soft launch phase. You review the complete site on a private staging link, we handle revisions and QA together, and nothing goes public until you give the green light.
Do you provide training? +
Yes. During soft launch we walk you through your site, your customer portal, and the page editor, so you know exactly how to make simple edits yourself, and how to reach us for everything else.
04 Design & Content
Custom wireframes, real copy, premium imagery. Never a template.
Do you use templates? +
Never. Every site starts from custom wireframes built in-house and designed around your brand. A template makes you look like every competitor who bought the same one. That's the opposite of the job.
Do you write the website copy? +
Yes. We write conversion-focused copy built from your onboarding answers: your services, your customers, your voice. You review and refine it with us during the design phase, so it sounds like you on your best day.
What about photos and imagery? +
Every image on your site is properly licensed premium stock from iStock and Envato. No cheesy free photos, no copyright demand letters. And if you have great photos of your own work, team, or space, even better. We'll use them.
Can you work with my existing brand and logo? +
Of course. We design around your existing logo, colors, and brand. If your brand materials are thin, we'll make smart choices that fit your business and keep everything consistent.
How do revisions work? +
Design starts with your homepage mockup, and we refine it with you until it feels like your brand. That's the standard, not a counted revision allowance. Before launch you review the entire site on a private link and we polish anything that needs it.
Will my site work on phones? +
Yes. Every site is built mobile-first and performs flawlessly on every device. Most of your visitors are on their phones, so that's where the design has to win first.
05 Ownership, Contracts & Hosting
Your site, your domain, your content. No long-term contracts.
Do I own my website? +
Yes. Your domain, your content, and your brand are always yours. The design and the build are yours once the Design & Development fee is paid: at launch if you pay upfront, or the day it's paid off if you spread it over 12 months. There's no long-term contract holding you here either. The platform that runs the site (hosting, security, licenses, lead delivery) is your monthly subscription, month-to-month with 30 days' notice. We keep clients by being worth keeping, not by locking the door.
Am I locked into a contract? +
No. The subscription is month-to-month with 30 days' notice and no minimum term. If you split your Design & Development fee over 12 months, that's a payment plan for work already delivered, not a contract that locks you in.
Do I own my domain? +
Yes, always. Your domain is registered to you and stays yours. We'll manage the DNS and technical configuration so you never have to think about it, but ownership never leaves your hands.
I already have a website. Can you take it over? +
Absolutely. We can redesign it, rebuild it, or simply take over hosting and maintenance, and we'll migrate your existing content as part of the build. On the discovery call we'll review your current site and recommend the option that makes the most sense for your goals and budget.
Where will my site be hosted? +
On premium cloud servers tuned specifically for WordPress, not crowded $5 shared hosting, fronted by Cloudflare's enterprise CDN and edge protection. Fast nationwide, shielded from attacks before they ever reach your site.
Is my site built on WordPress? +
Yes. Custom-built on WordPress, the platform that powers over 40% of the web. You get a DIY page editor plus full WordPress access. No hostage code, no proprietary builder you can never leave.
06 Support & Maintenance
Always free. Every plan, every client. US-based, one business day.
What if I need changes after launch? +
Just send a request. Support is always free, every plan, every client. Most updates are completed within one business day, Monday through Friday, by the same US-based team that built your site. Weekly software updates and daily backups run automatically behind the scenes.
Is support really free? What's the catch? +
Really free, no catch. Support is a reason to trust us, not a line item to audit. Your monthly fee pays for the platform (hosting, security, backups, updates, lead delivery), and the Site Health Report proves it worked. Support requests on top of that don't cost you a thing.
Who will I actually work with? +
A real, US-based team out of Chicagoland. No offshore handoffs, no ticket black holes. The people who design your site are the same people supporting it after launch.
Can I edit the site myself? +
Yes. Every plan includes a DIY page editor and full WordPress access, and we show you how to use it during launch training. That said, our support is so fast most clients just send us the request instead.
What happens if my site goes down? +
We usually know before you do. 24/7 uptime monitoring alerts us the moment something's wrong, and daily backups in two separate locations mean your site can be restored even if an entire data center fails.
How do you keep my site secure? +
Layers: enterprise edge protection in front of the site, malware scanning and a firewall on it, spam shielding on your forms, SSL encryption, weekly software updates, and daily dual-location backups. A hacked site costs thousands to fix. Our job is making sure it never happens.
What's the Site Health Report? +
A monthly report that proves the platform worked: uptime, threats blocked, spam stopped, backups completed, updates applied, and leads delivered. You see exactly what your subscription did, even when you never had to think about it.
How do I request changes or get help? +
Whatever is easiest for you: submit a request through your customer portal, use the support request form, or just email us. Most requests are done within one business day, Monday through Friday.
07 SEO & Growth
Found on Google at launch, climbing from there.
Will my site show up on Google? +
Every launch includes foundational SEO: proper site structure, fast load speeds, mobile optimization, SSL, and search engine indexing. For businesses that want to climb rankings faster, our Content Booster adds ongoing content built around what your customers actually search for.
What SEO is included at launch? +
On Basic: baseline SEO. Meta tags, titles, social sharing setup, and search engine submission. On Core: foundational SEO with dedicated service pages and five city service pages built to rank, plus Google Analytics and Search Console configured and reported monthly.
What's the Content Booster? +
Ongoing SEO content built around what your customers actually search for, researched, written, and published for you. It pairs with Core's blog, which already launches with six industry articles, and it's the most direct way to climb rankings month after month.
Do I get analytics or reports? +
Every plan includes a monthly Site Health Report and site analytics. Core upgrades you to Enhanced Analytics powered by Google: Google Analytics and Search Console, configured and reported monthly, made possible by the consent compliance Core includes.
What about blogging? +
Core includes a custom-designed blog that launches with six industry resource articles already published, not an empty coming-soon page. Write your own posts whenever you like, or let Content Booster keep it growing for you.
Do you run Google Ads? +
Yes, as an add-on service quoted separately. Your platform fee covers the system your site runs on; active marketing work like ads and ongoing content is its own clearly scoped engagement, so you always know what you're paying for.
